SYMPOSIUM: REGGAE AND THE CHURCH

Jamaica Theological Seminary, 14 WEST AVENUE, KINGSTON 8

CREW 40:4 is collaborating with JTS to stage this symposium for Reggae Month. We will be discussing the topic from five perspectives: cultural, theological, pastoral, arts & music leaders and global. I will be on the panel discussing the global perspective, and will also be singing along with CREW 40:4 Performing Arts Team. We hope to be interacting with a wide cross-section of persons - pastors, teachers, worship leaders, musicians, students, etc. Please come prepared to purchase your copies of the Kom Mek Wi Worship album series. Lunch will also be on sale, along with Auntie Jo-Jo's Desserts & Snacks

Kom Mek Wi Worship!

Calvary Gospel Assembly, 129 Sundown Crescent, Corner of Molynes Rd & Sundown Crescent, St. Andrew

Along with the CREW 40:4 Performing Arts team I will be working with Rev. Donovan Cole and the leaders at Calvary to facilitate a culturally relevant worship experience, using Scripture from the Jamaican New Testament and songs from the Kom Mek Wi Worship album series. CDs will be available at a special cost!

Every Wednesday the Jamaica Theological Seminary has a chapel session focusing on the arts. On this date, I will be speaking on the topic "Creativity through the Arts as Communication." Of course, I will also be doing at least one song! :-)
